Sharon Peleg, chief technology officer for Red Bend Software says: "Being granted this new patent demonstrates Red Bend's continued innovation in Mobile Virtualization, and further extends our intellectual property for managing any type of software on any type of mobile device – from smartphones to automobiles.
"Virtualization technology is a game-changer for device manufacturers that want to combine flexibility and security. Red Bend is committed to working with our customers and partners to architect and build the next-generation of virtualized, Enterprise-Ready mobile devices, advancing the new paradigm shift of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)."
Red Bend's software enables device makers, mobile operators, semiconductor vendors and automotive companies to remotely manage firmware, applications and mobile devices over the air.
