Red Bend has won a US patent for its virtual software package that allows handsets to run multiple operating systems. The technology is used in Red Bend’s vLogix Mobile system, and is the fifth granted to the firm. For businesses, the system allows a separate personal domain to be created on an employee’s smartphone or Tablet.

Red Bend's software enables device makers, mobile operators, semiconductor vendors and automotive companies to remotely manage firmware, applications and mobile devices over the air.
