YuMe Launches “Mobile-Flip” Video Ad Unit
New ad unit allows consumers to capture mobile ad messages and "flip slates" to further interact with a brand

Digital ad software and service provider YuMe has announced a new mobile ad unit called YuMe Mobile Flip. The technology enables users to “capture and retain” ad messages on one page or “slate” of a mobile device and then “flip” to another to continue interacting with the brand. Three different, interactive, two-in-one slate options are offered: Image2Video, Video2Image, Video2Video.


According to the company: “With YuMe Mobile Flip, users also benefit from the brand engagement elements – unique, predesigned ad templates for creating call-to-action icons such as ‘Save the Date,’ ‘Locate Us,’ ‘Add to Calendar,’ or ‘Call Now’ reminders. Furthermore, users can select a call icon to make an immediate call to the advertiser for more information, and can select social media interaction elements, such as Facebook or Twitter, from either slate. These interactive elements simplify the user’s experience while driving brand engagement and video ad completions.”


Companies who have already signed up for YuMe Mobile Flip include Elizabeth Arden, PHD Media and American Greetings.
